Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how kaze works processes information when you use Kaze Alarm Clock.

1. Overview

The App does not require you to create or register an account. We do not ask you to provide a name, email address, phone number, or other account information in order to use the App.

Content, preferences, settings, and other functional data that you create in the App are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this local App data. Your device operating system or a backup service that you separately enable may process local data according to your device and backup settings.

However, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Google advertising services. These third-party services transmit certain analytics, device, advertising, and diagnostic data to Google. Accordingly, not all data generated while using the App remains only on your device.

2. Information Processed

2.1 Data stored locally

Depending on the App’s features, locally stored data may include:

  • content you create or enter in the App;
  • App preferences and settings; and
  • local usage history needed to provide the App’s functions.

We do not receive this data on our own servers. You can delete it by using any deletion function provided in the App, clearing the App’s storage through your device settings, or uninstalling the App.

2.2 Analytics data

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve its features, usability, and performance. Depending on the SDK configuration, Google Analytics may process:

  • App interactions and usage events, such as App launches, screens viewed, features used, taps, and session information;
  • App and device information, such as App version, operating system, device model, language, and screen information;
  • approximate location inferred from the device’s IP address;
  • an app-instance identifier and, depending on device settings, consent, and configuration, an advertising identifier; and
  • diagnostic and performance information.

We do not intentionally send your locally stored content, name, email address, phone number, or other direct account identifiers to Google Analytics. Analytics identifiers are pseudonymous and are not the same as an anonymous dataset in every jurisdiction.

2.3 Advertising data

We use Google Mobile Ads / Google AdMob to display and measure advertisements and to prevent invalid traffic and fraud. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
  • App and advertisement interactions, such as App launches, taps, ad impressions, clicks, and video views;
  • diagnostic information, such as performance, launch time, hangs, and energy usage; and
  • device or other identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and related identifiers where available.

2.4 Information you provide when contacting us

If you contact us for support or privacy questions, we may receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond, provide support, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Use Information

We and our service providers process information to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the App;
  • understand feature usage and App performance;
  • detect bugs and diagnose technical issues;
  • display, personalize where permitted, and measure advertisements;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and invalid advertising traffic;
  • respond to support and privacy inquiries; and
  • comply with applicable law and enforce our terms and policies.

Where consent is not legally required, processing may be based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, understanding, and improving the App, or on another legal basis available under applicable law.

4. Third-Party Services and Sharing

We do not sell your locally stored App content. We disclose analytics, advertising, device, and diagnostic data to Google through the SDKs described above so that Google can provide analytics, advertising, measurement, security, and fraud-prevention services. Google may also process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

For more information, see:

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; to protect users, the public, our rights, or the security of the App; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the App, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. International Data Transfers

The App is offered globally. Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we and our service providers rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Local App data: remains on your device until you delete it through the App, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. We do not hold a server copy.
  • Google Analytics data: user-level event data accessible to us is retained for 2 months, subject to our Google Analytics configuration. Aggregated reports and data retained by Google for security, legal, or service-operation purposes may be kept for a different period under Google’s policies.
  • Advertising data: Google retains advertising and related data according to its settings, legal obligations, and privacy policy.
  • Support communications: are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with law.

To delete local data, clear the App’s storage in Android settings or uninstall the App. You can reset or delete the Android advertising ID in your device’s privacy or ads settings. You can also manage personalized ads through My Ad Center.

To request access to or deletion of information under our control, contact support.customalarmclock@gmail.com. Because the App has no accounts and we do not collect direct identifiers for analytics, we may be unable to link an email request to pseudonymous analytics data unless you can provide sufficient technical information. We will respond as required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

You can:

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. Data transmitted by the current Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Mobile Ads SDKs is encrypted in transit. Local data is protected by your device and operating-system security. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact support.customalarmclock@gmail.com so that we can take appropriate action.

If the App is offered to or designed for children, this section and the App’s advertising, analytics, consent, and Google Play Families settings must be revised before publication.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy at the same public URL and revise the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
